About

Ahunur Ozkarahan studied Graphic Arts at Marmara University, Istanbul (1994-1998). Later, she received her master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies - Electronic Arts from California State University, USA (1999-2001). While maintaining her printmaking studio practice, she also worked in the educational technology field. She attended printmaking studio programs at Istanbul Museum of Graphic Arts-IMOGA (2006-2009). In 2008 and 2009, she started working on photopolymer prints at Edinburgh Printmakers in Scotland, and also attended printmaking and design courses at Central Saint Martins UAL London, UK. She completed her Ph.D. at the Plastic Arts & Painting Department at Yeditepe University Istanbul, and as part of the doctorate program also spent a semester at the Art & Ecology Department at University of New Mexico, USA about ecological art related research. She worked as an art & design instructor at various universities and secondary schools, both in Istanbul and overseas.
